Sans Réponse compiles personal notes, obsessive lists and absurd poems extracted from Jacques Bourlanges' archive by his granddaughter, Marie Ilse. Through words and textile translations Marie Ilse weaves a new relationship with her unknown and mysterious grandfather, Jacques.

Obsessive lists and absurd poems extracted from Jacques’ archive are transformed into a multilayered voice soundscape. To engage in a newly found relationship with Jacques, Marie Ilse and Cecile read a selection of notes the isolated man wrote for himself, their female voices overlap in a frenetic rhythm, creating new and unforeseen connections.
